GREENFIELD CONCRETE PRODUCTIONS

Greenfield Concrete Productions has been owned and operated by Steve Greenfield since 1977.  Steve, a.k.a. Captain Concrete, and his wife Debbie purchased the buildings at 2 E Badger Street, Shannon in 1992.  After a major cleanup, overhaul and renovation, the business was moved in. This remains its present day location. Both Steve and Debbie grew up, and attended school, in Shannon.  They are both longtime residents and business owners in the Shannon and Lanark areas.
 
Greenfield Concrete has three seasoned full time employees, including Steve’s son Brook, and two part time workers. They all help in doing work for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. The Crew and their Captain have extensive experience putting in grain bin foundations, retaining walls and other concrete for area farmers. The Captain prides himself on being able to take old concrete and make it new by replacing or renovating. As he will tell you, he loves a challenge.

Greenfield Concrete does many types of concrete work including foundations, walls, driveways and patios. Many residential and commercial clients are proud of their washed aggregate and/or the colored stamped concrete that the Captain and Crew have created on their properties. Some work has been customized to suit the fancy of the owner, and made individually unique by Brook’s knack for creativity.  As the Captain says, “It adds a certain type of finesse to an already great product.”

Greenfield Concrete Productions is proud of where it has been and where it is going.  Having been a mainstay of Carroll County and the entire Northwest Illinois area for several years, they have much to offer and are continually bettering their services.

Steve has done concrete for many local residents, farmers and business owners, and has a loyal following with much repeat business. Many customers are proud to refer their friends and families to Captain Concrete and his Crew.  Having done work in the concrete field for over forty years, and owning a business in continuous operation for over thirty years, Steve can proudly say that his concrete is done right.
